What We Do

HomeComings Dog Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit, PACFA certified rescue based in Denver, Colorado. Our mission is to work toward the no-kill solution by rescuing all breeds of dogs, providing homeless dogs with temporary care through our foster care program until we are able to adopt them into a safe and loving permanent home. We promote spaying and neutering to reduce pet overpopulation. We also promote healthy relationships between pets and their people through quality veterinary care, diet, training, patience and most of all, love.

Who We Are

Deborah Hill is the founder and Executive Director of HomeComings Dog Rescue. Deborah is a Colorado native and a longtime animal advocate and animal rescue volunteer. Her lifelong dream was to build a rescue organization that provides abandoned, neglected and abused dogs a safe and soft place to fall. She feels very fortunate to be able to realize her dream and is so honored to work with the amazing team of caring volunteers and fosters who make HomeComings Dog Rescue such a success.

Deborah is also a singer and entertainer who has been performing in Colorado for many years. Along with her husband Mark,
she has two beloved grown sons and sweet daughter Lilyrose, who is a big help at adoption events and is the
resident puppy whisperer
